Humor books on CD or in Kindle format make great gifts for $20 or less. They ease the stress of long commutes and are a favorite for long road trips. Here are my favorite comedy audio book choices for 2012.

Tina Fey's Bossypants is hilarious! The book is a great read -- or listen -- that intersperses the comedienne's professional biography with lessons learned in her personal life. Tina understands our hectic lifestyles and makes it easier to laugh at the madness. Sample chapter titles include "Growing Up and Liking It," "What Turning 40 Means to Me" and "My Honeymoon, or A Supposedly Fun Thing I'll Never Do Again Either."

Best Free Android Apps to Download and Listen to Audio Books

I hate to sit and read books.

I honestly just get to boredbecause it goes too slow and there is so much else going on around me.

I do, however, love to listen toaudiobooks.

I happen to have a long commute to work, and I have listened to many many books I've always wished I had the attention to read in the past.

A neat feature of the Samsung Intercept Android is that it can background stream and download audiobooks.

There are a handful of apps that I use every day!

I do not like to pay for things if I can help it, and therefore, these apps are also free.

The app can give you a random book to try at the touch of a button with "Surprise me".

It keeps a record of the booksyou are listening to in "My Library", and this includes bookmarks accross all the books in your library.

Some narrators are hard to understand, but once you find one you like, chances are that they may have read other books too.

Thankfully, you can search by Narrator.

Why I enjoy listening to audio-books in my sleep.

I personally enjoy listening to audio-books or podcasts whilst I sleep. Normally I listen to audio-books before I sleep and fall asleep whilst listening to them. Sometimes as I am dreaming and listen to them at the same time, the audio-book paints itself into my dreams. It is actually very bizarre but also very cool. Visibly seeing my dreams being affected by what is being played in my audio-book has happened more than a few times to say that it is coincidental.
